For this 48-metre luxury yacht, LIGHT ON developed a lighting concept that had to be built into the ceiling as they were already low. For homogeneous ambient lighting, spots were installed so that only the light itself is visible. This is distributed over the walls, which serve as additional reflectors, and diffusely illuminates the entire room.
Accents are set by the window niches illuminated with LED technology. One of the highlights in the interior of the yacht is the golden staircase, the effect of which is intensified by illumination with xenon lamps and diffused light. Xenon lamps mounted under the furniture make it appear to float. LED technology was used for the exterior lighting of the Arethusa for energy reasons.
