Welcome to the project EKZ Luzern

LIGHT ON lends the shopping centre 50 in the heart of Lucerne a retro 50s look using state of the art lighting technologies. Together with the architects, a lighting concept was developed to complement the signage of the shopping area as well as features in the gallery and access areas.

The central element is a huge pendant luminaire that extends through the entire height of the multi-storey gallery. To ensure its safety, it was hung on special cables made of kevlar. Pedestrian areas are homogeneously illuminated using glare-reduced mini-reflectors. These also ensure that featured, decorative lighting elements are shown off to their best advantage.
