Tonhalle Competition
As part of the closed competition, LIGHT ON created an energy efficient, technically sophisticated lighting concept that sensitively deals with the historical preservation of the listed hall: The entire podium area is perfectly lit up by a height variable, dimmable LED panel with special Fresnel lenses. Headlamps used as a front and side light ensure that the artists’ faces are lit up homogeneously. Innovative LED chair lighting serves as a programme reading light and at the same time as a handbag holder. LED light strips make the door thresholds visible and at the same time act as emergency lighting. A large range of different lighting moods can be produced thanks to the differentiated control of individual circuits and continuous dimming of the lighting.
