RESTORATION AND THE MODERNISING OF LIGHTING TECHNOLOGY

LIGHT ON has almost 30 years of experience in professionally combining modern lighting technology while meeting the requirements of conservation authorities. After taking stock and recording the actual condition of all lighting in a listed object, we approach the restoration sensitively, creating prototypes to check thermal loads on the luminaires (glass and cooling elements). We reconstruct mechanical parts and rebuild them true to the original down to the smallest detail. If it is found necessary in the course of restoration, we adapt luminaires to increase their output. Finally, with an acceptance protocol and a declaration of conformity, we demonstrate compliance with the regulations imposed by the monument conservation authorities.
